WHY TOKYO?
There are a number of explanations as to how I came to be known as ‘Tokyo’ (and none of them have to do with a Spanish television series). The simple explanation is that in 2015, I flew my spaceship, The Cosmorocket to the city of Tokyo, where I had always dreamed of building a life on this planet. I spent 6 years in search of a 3D incarnation of happiness.
Come 2020, a catastrophe of universal proportions warped me through space and time to a city I called home lifetimes ago: Miami, where the local currency is Status and the native language is Egoic. Jobless and possessionless (minus a handful of kimono), people had no way to relatably identify me. I was an alien to this new world.
In my home dimension, we don’t go by names given to us by guardians. Our names are directly connected to the essence of our being, our dreams. When you peel back the layers of concepts and ideas subjected on us by external factors: names, skin color, hairstyles, clothing, all that we are left with is our dreams. To the same effect, a global pandemic left me with little more than my lifelong dream. Tokyo.
Today, that dream has laid the blueprint for me to build another Cosmorocket to take me back home. I use the money earned from offering authenticity in a market of cultureless imitation to gather the resources needed to build my ship. Your contributions honor me, so I hope to reward you with treasures nobody else on this Earth will ever have. I tell my stories in an effort to help you reconnect with your Self, as the Cosmorocket is fueled by smiles. So enjoy my tales of Tokyo and be sure to reward yourself with a treasure from 東京 before you return to Earth. Be sure to leave some smiles in the gas tank お願いします.
